The copper plate has not been located. It was cancelled with multiple crossed diagonal lines.
It was of a size Whistler used frequently. Similar sized plates were used for a variety of subjects in Britain and the continent between 1883 and 1887, including Barges, Dordrecht [262], Cottage Door [252], The Seamstress [253], St James's Park [250], The Abbey Jubilee [296], Head of Whistler [318], Church Door, Edgware [291], Butcher's Shop, Sandwich, Kent [320] and Children, Portsmouth [301].
