An unidentified etching called 'Fish Woman - Brussels' - which may in fact be Fish Women, Ostend - was bought by H. Wunderlich & Co. for £6.6.0, on behalf of a relative of the artist, Ross Revillon Winans (1850-1912). 16

It is extremely rare, with single impressions bought by Howard Mansfield (1849-1938) (), and Charles Lang Freer (1856-1919) (), the latter as late as 1903. In his ledger noting the owners of Whistler's etchings, Edward Guthrie Kennedy (1849-1932) includes but a single collector of this etching: Ralph Wormeley Curtis (1854-1922), who bought an impression in 1899 for $30. 17 The only other located print is in the Library of Congress ().
