Little Terrace, Luxembourg Gardens is an etching, with no drypoint.
PRINTING
It is very rare. Two impressions were printed in black ink on cream Japanese paper (
, ), and one, which was kept by Whistler, in black on ivory laid paper (). All were trimmed to the platemark and signed on a tab with the butterfly and 'imp.' to show that Whistler had printed them.
