Market Women: Turkeys dates from 1888.
It was etched in the Loire valley, probably in Loches. Beatrice and James Whistler visited Loches during their honeymoon, between about 15 October and November 1888.
Other etchings done at that time include Booth, Market Place, Loches 425 and Market Women, Loches 423.
