The scene was done in both etching and drypoint, but no impressions before cancellation have been located.
Of the known impressions of this etching, most are in black ink on laid paper, including two on ivory paper with a Strasbourg Lily watermark (,) and one on cream 'modern' (post-1800) laid Van Gelder paper (); one, however, is on cream wove paper (). The binding complicates measuring those impressions still in volumes, but the paper can vary in size from at least 235 x 382mm () to 240 x 322 mm ().
