The composition is complete.

State 2

Five wavy drypoint lines are added in the sky, extending 59 mm from the left plate edge.
Eventually the drypoint lines fade drastically, particularly at upper left, and are barely visible (i.e.).
Published in the Thames set in this state.

State 2 (cancelled)

Cancelled with three ruled horizontal lines crossed by ruled diagonal lines from corner to corner.
