The copper plate is the same size as an etching of the same date, Eagle Wharf 050, and marginally larger than Old Hungerford Bridge 076. It is stamped with the same maker's mark as Eagle Wharf, 'HUGHES & KIMBER / MANUFACTURERS/ RED LION SQUARE / FLEET STREET / LONDON'.
It was published in the 'Thames Set' in 1871, and cancelled with a grid of horizontal and vertical lines.
It was bought by Charles Lang Freer (1856-1919) in 1896, and is now in the Freer Gallery of Art with other plates from the 'Thames Set'. 11
