The copper plate was probably among those cancelled at the time of Whistler's bankruptcy. It is similar in size to Finette 061, dating from 1859, and Old Battersea Bridge 188, dating from 1879, as well as some later etchings.
The plate was cancelled with diagonal and zig-zag lines. The cancelled plate was probably among those considered for publication in a set of Cancelled Etchings by the Fine Art Society in 1879. Most of the published sets contain 57 etchings, except for the set now in the Yale University Art Gallery, which contains additional prints.
The copper plate has not been located.
