DESCRIPTION
The faint portrait of a young woman, probably seated, in profile to right, holding a large Asian fan. Her hair is wavy and abundant, and is pulled back loosely.
SITTER
Not identified. The plate was acquired in Paris, so the portrait may have been done in France.
