PRINTING

It is very rare: only three impressions have been located. One is in black ink on off-white Asian laid paper (Graphic with a link to impression #K2320104), and two on ivory laid paper, one with a partial watermark of a shield (Graphic with a link to impression #K2320103) and the other with a partial 'KF' watermark (Graphic with a link to impression #K2320102). They were almost certainly printed in Venice. None are trimmed, but one impression is signed and inscribed by the artist 'JMcN Whistler / Venice / 80' (Graphic with a link to impression #K2320102).
