The copper plate has not been located. It was a different size from any other plate. It was probably among those cancelled at the time of Whistler's bankruptcy.
The cancelled plate was probably among those sold at Whistler's bankruptcy, and intended for publication in a set of Cancelled Etchings by the Fine Art Society in 1879. Most of the published sets contain 57 etchings, except for the set now in the Yale University Art Gallery, which contains several additional prints (House-roofs [132], Seated woman facing left [134], Woman seated in an armchair facing right [90], Nude woman reclining [92], A standing figure, possibly on stage [160], Lady standing [149]).
