SITE
High Street Kensington is in central London. Whistler made several small street scenes around 1886 and 1887, including Perambulator, King's Road [277] and Piccadilly [256]. Athough both these were recorded in the same list, there was some confusion in the stock-taking, with some etchings or plates being recorded twice under different titles, so it is possible that this title was confused with another.
