The copper plate has not been located. It was similar in size to the plate for Nocturne: Furnace [208]. It may have been made for Whistler in Venice.
It was published by Messrs Dowdeswell and Alphonse Wyatt Thibaudeau (ca 1840- d.1892) with the Twenty-six Etchings (the 'Second Venice Set') in 1886. It was cancelled first with five diagonal lines and then with many crossed diagonal lines.
