PRINTING
Three impressions of Bébés, Jardin du Luxembourg are recorded. One was listed by Mansfield and reproduced by Kennedy but has not been located (). 7 One impression is in black ink on ivory 'antique' (pre-1800) laid paper (). Another is on heavy-weight wove paper (). All were trimmed to the platemark and signed on the tab with a butterfly and 'imp.' to show that Whistler had printed them.
7: Howard Mansfield (1849-1938) (cat. no. 420); Kennedy 1910 (cat. no. 428).
