PRINTING
There was a limited print-run. Impressions were printed on a variety of papers. One is in black ink on cream laid paper (), another on ivory (darkened to buff) with the watermark of an Eagle with the Basel Crozier (). Others are in dark brown ink on ivory laid paper () and fine cream laid paper watermarked 'D' (). All are trimmed to the platemark and signed on the tab with a butterfly and 'imp.' to show that Whistler had printed them.
