The copper plate is close in size to one other plate used in Venice, Fruit Stall
[225], and the same size as several earlier plates such as Ratcliffe Highway
[65]. It was published in Venice, a Series of Twelve Etchings (the 'First Venice Set') by the Fine Art Society, London, in 1880. It was cancelled with crossed diagonal lines.
The copper plate was acquired by Frank Duveneck (1848-1919), who gave it to Cincinnati Art Museum. 5
