TECHNIQUE
An unfinished drypoint.
PRINTING
It was published in the 'Cancelled Set' by The Fine Art Society in London in 1879. All known impressions are from the cancelled plate, and all are printed in black ink. One is on cream wove paper () but most are on ivory () or cream () laid paper, some with a watermark: a horned crown () and Strasbourg Lily ().
