Girl Lying Down is pure drypoint.
PRINTING
It was published in an album of Cancelled Plates by The Fine Art Society in 1879. It is likely that 20 or 24 sets of the plates were published though not all have been located. This was printed in black ink, once on cream wove paper (), and more usually on ivory or cream 'modern' (post-1800) laid paper, sometimes with the 'Van Gelder' () or Strasbourg Lily watermark ().
