TECHNIQUE
An etching with added drypoint, this is closely related in style and technique to The Punt
[82] and Sketching
[83]. It appears to have been drawn quickly, with long, straggly lines suggesting clouds and water, loose, wriggly line for the figures, and more precise and densely worked details of the distant houses and trees.
