The copper plate bears the maker's stamp of 'HUGHES & KIMBER / MANUFACTURERS / RED LION PASSAGE / FLEET STREET / LONDON'. It was a different size from other copper plates.
The plate was steel-faced but not cancelled. The plate was acquired by Charles Lang Freer (1856-1919) in 1906. It is now in the Freer Gallery of Art. 6
