The copper plate has not been located. It was a different size from any other plate. It was probably among those cancelled at the time of Whistler's bankruptcy.
The cancelled plate was probably among those sold at Whistler's bankruptcy, and intended for publication in a set of Cancelled Etchings by the Fine Art Society in 1879. Most of the published sets contain 57 etchings, except for the set now in the Yale University Art Gallery, which contains several additional prints (House-roofs

The copper plate was a different size from other plates; it was a little larger than Amsterdam, from the Tolhuis
[99] and Draped Model
[109], which date from 1863 and the early 1870s respectively. It was cancelled with numerous zig-zag lines. and was probably among those cancelled at the time of Whistler's bankruptcy.
