A view from Cockspur Street looking across Trafalgar Square to the front of the National Gallery, London. The view was taken from Prichard's, a chemist at 65 Charing Cross.
DISCUSSION
Whistler made a sketch of the proposed view, Trafalgar Square
[m1022]. It is not known if it was actually printed.
