Print tone:There is an uneven, medium print tone. It is darker at the left side, upper left and lower left corners, and upper right corner. The plate has been more cleanly wiped in the centre.  
Note on foul biting:There are minor single pits particularly around the lobster pots.  
Print note:There are vertical wipe marks evident at the lower left corner and diagonal wipe marks at the upper left. There is a mottled effect from wiping at the upper right corner and slight reticulation of ink at the lower left.
