Print note:Medium: more pronounced tonal medium (possibly lavis or softground) added over the grill of the window at right, beneath it and on the door and its frame at the right; there is evidence of stopping-out around the lattice of the grill-work; roulette work visible beneath the heavy plate tone on the lower portion of image; the series of scratches (vise mark) visible at lower centre in 1934.578 removed; possibly strengthened tonal medium over much of the area within the doorway?
