Print tone:mfm: a lot of print tone, particularly to right mh: selectively wiped, with tone over the figure's dress and behind the skirt at right.  
Note on foul biting:Acid droplets among the vertical drypoint lines above and to the left of the head; small pits and scratches at lower right.  
Print note:Rich burr and/or retroussage.: Note the tonal work in the plate. An irregular patch, extending to the left of and behind the head and to the left and right of the lower part of the skirt is lavis or open bite; this tonal work appears faintly in Kennedy's illustrations of the second through sixth states as well as clearly on FGA 1898.354
