G. Kennedy as owned by Mrs Robert Bliss, 1910. Thomas Jefferson Coolidge, jr (1863-1912), Boston. Robert Rice. The Fine Art Society, London, 2001; bought by Patricia Cornwell and presented to the Hunterian Art Gallery, University of Glasgow, 2001.

Verso: black round stamp, 'JC' twice (Thomas Jefferson Coolidge, Lugt 1429), red-brown rectangular stamp 'B.M.' (Berhard Buchanan MacGeorge, Lugt 394). In bottom left corner rust-red stamp 'RR', first R reversed (Robert Rice, not in Lugt).
