Print tone:The print tone is uneven. It is used selectively in the foreground to suggest the undulations of the meadow. There is a mottled effect at the lower right.  
Note on foul biting:There is foul biting around the edges and a lot of pitting in the sky and immediate foreground. There are half-oval-shaped foul biting marks in the foreground.  
Print note:There are diagonal wipe marks evident at the lower left. The figure in the foreground is etched particularly deeply.
