Note on foul biting:traces to the left and right of the figure's torso; more distinct on the shaded area to the left of the skirt and around the plate signature and the printer's address  
Print note:It is a rich impression, cleanly wiped, so that the figure stands out. This impression shows evidence of burnishing to remove the deepest flecks of foul biting to left and right of figures's upper body and further burnishing at lower left and right plate corners; possible that this effect was produced by wiping but more likely a cosmetic change to the plate for its later printing(s).
