Print tone:There is a medium print tone, selectively used for emphasis in the foreground, water, sky and buildings.  
Note on foul biting:There is pitting throughout and an area of granular tone on the boat at the right, in the water by the awning and on the palazzo at the left.  
Print note:There is a mottled effect from wiping in the water. Wipe marks are evident particularly in the foreground where there is a vertical emphasis. There is reticulation of ink at the upper right and lower right. The ink has soaked through to the verso. Cancelled with 8 short diagonal lines.
