Note on foul biting:minimal pitting in water around gondola and the boat at the pier, else exceptionally clean  
Print note:the drying fisher's net is printed more lightly, indicating its semi-transparency. In a short vertical strip (10 x 3 mm) on left sail of ship in background, the plate has not been bitten as deep as in surrounding areas (almost a milk-glass-effect).
