Print tone:There is a light print tone on the arches. The plate has been wiped more cleanly on the right side. There is a varied use of tone in the water; the ink is wiped vertically on the left and horizontally on the right in the water. There are diagonal wipe lines at the left edge and residual ink in the upper left corner.  
Note on foul biting:Granular tone is used in the arches. There is also pitting and single pits within the doorway.  
Print note:There are roulette wheel lines running in different directions in the top half of the water and distinctive reticulation of ink in the foreground. There is a possible crease line at the centre of the lower edge.
