Note on foul biting:scattered acid droplets, mostly noticable near the plate edges; scratches or burnishing marks at the upper centre plate edge; vertical burnishing marks at lower left (all also present in FGA 1898.32); and with new acid droplets above the butterfly signature and granular foul biting on the roofs of the central palaces, the façades of the buildings at right and above and below the two large gondolas to the left of centre
