Print tone:carefully wiped to leave dark plate tone on the shaded areas and shadows on buildings at right; medium tone on the foreground and middle ground; light tone on the sky; with the boards of the stern of barge at lower center clean-wiped.  
Note on foul biting:Considerable throughout; particularly heavy at lower right and on prow of boat with signature and date.  
Print note:The 'foul biting' on the prow is similar to the splatter on Old Battersea Bridge (HAG46793) but seems less deliberate and even/measured.A good impression with a slightly grainy effect overall.
