| Note on foul biting: | There is an area of foul biting at the lower edge and a mark from the grip of a tool at the right side. There are individual pits around the doorway and figures; there is a particularly pronounced area affecting the etched lines at the feet of the seated woman. |
| Print note: | Towards the edges there are scratchy wipe marks. There are particularly notable horizontal wipe marks in the lower right foreground and vertical, mottled wipe marks on the door, giving the suggestion of the grain of the wood. The ink has seeped through to the verso. |
