Atelier de Bijouterie may date from 1887 or 1888 (although it was formerly considered to date from 1892/1893).
It is the same size as Archway, Brussels [344] and close to several other plates including York Street, Westminster [382], Fishing Quay, Ostend [351], The Courtyard, Brussels [345] and Passages de l'Opéra [386], all of which date from 1887 or 1888.
Although the butterfly signatures written in pencil on some impressions suggest a slightly later date, this may only indicate that they were printed or sold later.
