TECHNIQUE
The early, delicate lines were reinforced with stronger drypoint in the second state.
PRINTING
Four impressions have been located. One is in black ink on ivory Japan paper, printed with a light burr on parts of the dress, producing a very soft effect (). Another early impression, also in black, is on cream Asian paper (). In addition, Kennedy reproduces a later impression printed with much heavier burr () but this has not been located. 8
8: Kennedy 1910 (cat. no. 118).
