François Péraldi was a curator.
Life:
Péraldi was the curator of the museum in Ajaccio, Corsica, and met JW there in 1901, when he offered JW the use of his studio. He advised JW that he needed to rest, a suggestion that JW took, declaring to Elizabeth Pennell that having 'sat in the sun and slept' he was 'cured' (#10597). JW acquired a copy of Péraldi's Catalogue des tableaux, statues, bustes, médailles, meubles (1900), in the Musée de l'Hôtel-de-Ville d'Ajaccio, Ajaccio (Glasgow University Library).
