A. J. Parsons was an American amateur print collector.

Life:

Parsons' collection focused on prints of modern artists, including Cameron, Whistler and their contemporaries. The Library of Congress currently houses some of his collection of Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and printed books. Among his Whistler etchings were K1850401, K1890501, K1920201, K2120501, K3720301, K4080201 and K4270101. His collection, comprising 174 items, was sold at Christie's, London, on 7 February 1911, where it realised £4415.14.
