Rev. Charles Henry Middleton-Wake lived at 2 South Villas, Campden Hill Road, London.

Life:

He was the vicar of Lingen, Herefordshire, and was appointed Assistant Chaplain, Chapel Royal, Savoy, in 1881. In that same year he was given an MA degree by Cambridge University.

Wake contributed to, but was not acknowledged in Francis Seymour Haden's Catalogue of the Etched Work of Rembrandt, published by the Burlington Fine Arts Club, London, in 1877. He was on the council of The Society of Authors in 1893.
