Sir Spencer Cecil Brabazon Ponsonby-Fane was a diplomat and courtier. He married Louisa Anne Rose, daughter of the 13th Viscount Dillon in 1847.
Life:
Ponsonby-Fane spent his career from 1840 in the Foreign Office. His posts included that of British attaché in Washington DC, and Private Secretary to three Foreign Secretaries.
