Life:

Jane M. Dealy studied art at the Slade School and the Royal Academy School. She exhibited at the Royal Academy in the 1880s and 1890s. She was also a children's book illustrator. In 1887 she married Sir Walter Llewellyn Lewis. She gave Whistler's etchings to the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
