The Little Rotherhithe was dated '1861' by Whistler on the copper plate.
Other London views done in 1861 include Old Hungerford Bridge [76], Vauxhall Bridge [75], Millbank [78], Battersea Dawn (Cadogan Pier) [95] and The Little Pool [79].
The Little Rotherhithe was, however, still being printed in 1877 when Whistler printed an impression for 'W.G.R.' who was probably William George Rawlinson (1840-1928) (Graphic with a link to impression #K0730205).
