PRINTING

It is very rare. Three impressions of Nora Quinn have been located. One is printed in dark brown ink on cream laid paper (), another on off-white laid paper with a Crowned 'GR' with crossed branches in a circle, the countermark to PRO PATRIA / MVD (), both being trimmed to the platemark and signed on the tab with a butterfly and 'imp.' to show that Whistler printed them. The third is a cancelled impression in dark brown ink on ivory wove paper ().
