Signed with a butterfly at right, just below centre.

State 2

Short, fine horizontal drypoint lines are added along the horizon at right, along with two wavy drypoint lines in the water at centre.
The drypoint lines wore down quickly, particularly at the horizon, and can be difficult to see without magnification.

State 2 (cancelled)
