STATE
Three states are known.
State 1
There is no signature or inscription.
Most, if not all, shading on the ceiling of the passageway is in etching.
State 2
Considerable drypoint shading is added to the ceiling of the passageway; the figures in the distant doorway are more clearly defined.
State 3
Column bases, steps and other foreground details are sketched in drypoint; a partly drawn standing or leaning figure is added next to the left column; the beginnings of another figure appear to right of the right column.
