TECHNIQUE

Gondola under a Bridge was begun in pure etching, and only a few drypoint lines were added, on and just below the large gondola and among the arches at left.

PRINTING

Only three impressions of Gondola under a bridge have been located. One - probably printed in Venice - is in black ink on a fine, smoothly textured Asian tissue (), and another, also in black ink, is on cream Asian laid paper ().
