The Little Rotherhithe was dated '1861' by Whistler on the copper plate.
Other London views done in 1861 include Old Hungerford Bridge 076, Vauxhall Bridge 075, Millbank 078, Battersea Dawn (Cadogan Pier) 095 and The Little Pool 079.
The Little Rotherhithe was, however, still being printed in 1877 when Whistler printed an impression for 'W.G.R.' who was probably William George Rawlinson (1840-1928) ().
