A building with an arched window probably dates from between 1893 and 1898.
The copper plate has the maker's stamp of 'C. SERVANT / PLANEUR / 45, B DES GDS AUGUSTINS'. This stamp is on several other plates dating from between 1888 and 1901. Of this group, A building with an arched window is close in size to The Band, Luxembourg Gardens 466 and Mme Pelletier, Blanchisserie, Paris 481. These have been dated respectively to 1892/1894 and 1897/1898.
