Note on foul biting:the patch of droplets to the right of the boat wirh the standing figure and and the scraping marks at the lower left and right are less pronounced than on Kennedy first state illustration  
Print note:This impression is later than the first state impression reproduced by Kennedy; the background lines print fairly clearly, but the three slanting lines in the water have almost disappeared; there is a U-shaped scratch on the lower right corner that appears, faintly, in Kennedy's second state reproduction.
