Note on the paper:medium weight, 'antique' laid paper. It is ragged at the upper and lower edges but trimmed on the right and left sides.

Print tone:There is a medium print tone that is particularly pronounced towards the corners and edges, and also around the upper doorway.  
Note on foul biting:There is an area of foul biting near the lower edge and a mark from the grip of a tool at the right side. There are individual pits around the doorway.  
Print note:There is a great deal of scratching from the wiping. At the left side there is a white mark from where a hair was caught in the printing. There are etched lines in the foreground at the foot of the woman with the baby that have broken down slightly. The ink has soaked through to the verso.
